Not a good day
Well, Friday isn't starting out to be a good day but we're working through it. Mom doesn't do well with narcotic pain medicine. We had this same trouble a few years back when she had her hysterectomy. Hopefully we'll get it straightened out this afternoon and all will be ok. Cross your fingers that happens soon. She's been throwing up and not good at all....however the doctors still think she's going to be ok and get everything settled down. So...just so you know that's what we're dealing with today. They still have our discharge papers set for tomorrow so the Good Lord Willing and the creek don't rise we'll be home safe and sound then.

Sorry to hear that things aren't going well...I'm sure the drs know what they are doing...as much as I dislike drs :) I know they are great at what they do more often than not. Please know that we are thinking of you and your fam.
BUMMER!!!!!! I understand the concept of not doing well w/narcotics. (I don't either) I am sure she feels like crap, but once it gets out of her system, she will be ok. I feel for you, Lois! Prayers are still going -- and hoping tomorrow will be the day to pack up and get out of Dodge! Hang in there!
Lois, I am sure you are thankful to have such a dear daughter to be by your side -- as well as, keeping us all updated. Leah, you're GOOD!!!
Love, Charlotte :)
Grandma Lois -
You need to get well and get home. I am afraid this lady is going to keep me!!!!

You've got a lot of positive energy coming from your friends here in KC. We'll keep the angels awake to watch over you and your Mom.

Hope Lois is better now. It must be a family trait to have problems with narcotic pain medicine. David had some pretty good stuff that made him hallucinate a lot after his knee surgery. I hate it that you had the reaction. Get better so you can head south tomorrow. Love, DDJT
